Earlier this month, I had the privilege of photographing Colton and Destiny's wedding day. The experience was especially meaningful because our families share a long-standing friendship, making it a joy to celebrate and document such a significant milestone in their lives.

A Sentimental Detail - The Ring

What woman doesn't appreciate a beautiful ring—especially one filled with meaning? Destiny's ring is as sentimental as it is stunning, featuring a heart-shaped diamond at its center. The unique piece once belonged to her mother, making it a treasured family heirloom and a beautiful reminder of the love that connects generations.

An Artistic Touch - The Invitation

Destiny has a creative eye, so she took on the task of designing her and Colton’s wedding invitation herself. The result was a fun, one-of-a-kind design that perfectly reflected their personalities. The invitation even featured illustrated versions of Destiny, Colton, and their beloved cat, ready for an adventure together.

I love to make a bride feel oh-so-special on her wedding day. So, my day started with a Starbucks run to get a cold Strawberry Acai Refresher for Destiny. With her drink in hand and wedding-day excitement building, it was time to document all the special moments as she got ready for the big day.

The First Look

The first look was one of the sweetest moments of the day. As soon as Colton and Destiny saw each other, their entire demeanor seemed to soften. The love between them was unmistakable, evident in every smile, glance, and quiet interaction. In that moment, it became clear how much joy Destiny brings to Colton's life and how much peace Colton brings to hers. Their love was evident without a single word being spoken.
