My Due Date for Baby Zeke is April 9th!
I am feeling so excited and overjoyed about the upcoming birth of our second son, Zeke. I'm so excited to see how Leo interacts with him, as well as how his personality shapes our family dynamic in a whole new way. As much as he moves around now, I imagine he is just going to be a crazy little ball of energy, in the best way!
A Personal Prediction -
Even though the due date is April 9th, I don't think I'm going to make it that far! my prediction for a good while has been March 30th, but we will see if I make it to then! My husband hopes for an April Fools baby. Wouldn't that be fun!?
Pregnancy Fun Fact -
This pregnancy, my biggest craving has been Steak! Especially alongside some blueberries and raspberries for breakfast!
Personal Prep
Praying
Everyday, I pray for the safety and health of my family, including baby Zeke! I pray for strength for him and I going into the birth, and motivation and energy in the weeks after.
Praising
I praise God for the opportunity to raise our precious boys. My goal is to help them grow into God-fearing, honorable men. I thank God for the opportunity to be home with them, even on the hard days, and to watch them grow and learn everyday.
Persevering
I am beginning to get pretty physically tired. I am prepping my body through trying to rest, going to the chiropractor, drinking teas, and eating dates. I am prepping my mind through gratitude and giving myself grace. I am prepping my home through organizing.

A Little Surprise . . .
When Leo was born, we had newborn photos taken with Amy from Mom Plus Camera (I'll include a button which leads to her Instagram page). She did a FANTASTIC job, and I would 1000% recommend her!
For a few simple reasons, this time around, I've decided to take Zeke's newborn photos myself! I've also been asked by previous clients about the prospect of newborn photos . . . That being said, I'm hoping to make a debut into the newborn photography life. For now, it will be on a very limited basis due to factors like weather and props. However, I think it would be a fun dive into a route that combines two of my passions, motherhood and photography! Newborn photos will be a new adventure for me. It is a challenge I am ready and excited for! My first newborn session is supposed to be this week!
